A friend sent me this amazing video this morning and it brought a tear to my eye. It’s by Prince EA and houses such profound inspiring wisdom that’s packed within a 5 minute video. It would have been wonderful to receive on any day but I feel it is more apt for today as millions mourn the passing of music pioneer Prince. I was just thinking about sharing this video today when I got the urge to do automatic writing and this is what came through that I want to share with you too – it’s a message about Prince’s passing…

“Prince’s influence was more profound than many realised. He was here to teach people that reinvention is a key to human potential. He was here to inspire others to be individual and use their creativity in a way that was fun, challenging and completely unique. He had a deep sense of faith that many wouldn’t have been aware of and he always felt that he had a mission. And that’s because he did. Part of his mission was to unite sexuality and spirituality which he did through his song lyrics – some of which will have a broader influence in time to come. His passing will have more of an impact than perhaps some others as his light will ignite in those that it is supposed to a feeling of vulnerability, a sense of seeing their life from a different perspective, a feeling of making the most of the time they have. For some as a result of Prince’s passing material binds will loosen as more of a priority will be placed on having fun and cherishing friends and family that had perhaps until this point been taken for granted. Today an energy of humbleness is surfacing across the planet. It is a wave that will touch all those that it is supposed to. Prince’s true legacy alongside his music is: Live life to the full and don’t let anyone take your dreams away from you, whatever they might be…

Here’s a few of Prince’s more profound musings taken from an interview he did with the New York Times to leave with you for today…

“The real power is in community, in actually connecting with people.”

“Every day I feel is a blessing from God. And I consider it a new beginning.”

“I’ve always understood spirituality and sexuality to be intertwined.”

“When you don’t talk down to your audience, then they can grow with you. I give them a lot of credit to be able to hang with me this long, because I’ve gone through a lot of changes, but they’ve allowed me to grow, and thus we can tackle some serious subjects and try to just be better human beings, all of us.”

“Compassion is an action word with no boundaries.”

“Time is a mind construct. It’s not real.”

With lots & lots of love to you today,

Helen xx
